Meet Our Care Team

Amanda is a Vermont native and grew up in the professional horse business of show jumping and polo and spent much of her childhood competing in horse shows and playing polo in the Northeast and Florida. She has two children and in her free time enjoys being active, playing and coaching hockey, working out, riding horses and keeping up with her kiddos.
After graduation, Tanya attended La’James college in Mason City, Iowa, and received a certificate of
completion from the massage therapy program. Massage really wasn’t her thing, so she decided to go
back to school for Cosmetology. She had dreamed of being a hair stylist since she was a little girl. She
has been doing hair since graduating from Cosmetology school in 2011.
In 2020, Tanya needed a break from doing hair full-time. She started working at Reproductive
Healthcare that summer. Tanya started off as a receptionist, but she soon started taking on more tasks
and not long after was promoted to Office Manager.
Tanya has been married since 2006. Her husband Cody, is a teacher at Coffeen Elementary school. Tanya
has three amazing children, Trevan, Logan and Nora. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends
and her animals. Tanya also likes spending time in the mountains, lifting weights or at the lake.
My nursing career started in Sheridan, actually, when we moved here in the early 2000’s and I couldn’t find a job as a chemist. After a short stint at Walmart, where my frustration at having multiple degrees and not being able to use them reached a peak, I decided I was never going to be unemployable again and graduated from the Sheridan College Nursing program in 2006. The journey may have begun as just wanting a job, but my calling was discovered in nursing and healthcare.
Introducing Jennifer Rose
We moved around Wyoming and I worked in several hospitals and in a few schools. My passion for access to care was cultivated on the Wind River Indian Reservation as the school nurse for the Arapahoe K-12 schools. My concern for the state of women’s healthcare in Western medicine grew as an OB nurse and I became a Certified Nurse Midwife in order to be the change I wanted to see.
Now this path has led me to Reproductive Healthcare of the Big Horns, and I am so excited to continue the journey. The mission of RHBH fits hand in hand with my philosophy of care; patient autonomy, informed consent, and access to quality care for everyone.

Reproductive Healthcare of the Big Horns is guided by an experienced, compassionate volunteer board dedicated to providing comprehensive, high quality, voluntary family planning and other reproductive health care services in Northern Wyoming.
